Lee Cole, Executive Director of the Hardwood Federation, will
discuss the new administration and trade issues.
SFI Attention On Solid Wood -
Jason Metnick, Senior VP
of Consumer Affairs, Sustainable Foresty Initiative, will explain
SFIís acceptance in LEED building and plans to promote solid wood.
AHMI Research Project Update
- Tom Inman will discuss
the latest on the Appalachian Hardwood research with the regionís

Mike Hoover of Neff Lumber Mills will present the State of the
Association and recognize anniversaries.

2017 Summer Conference - Inn on Biltmore Estate, Asheville, NC
Appalachian Hardwood Manufacturers, Inc.
will hold its 2017 Summer Conference in Asheville, NC at the Inn on
Biltmore Estate on July 23-25.
Set in George Vanderbilt's 19th-century manor house in the Blue Ridge
Mountains, this upscale hotel is on the Biltmore Estate with
refined rooms and deluxe furnishings. Upgraded
rooms have balconies or terraces, while suites add living and dining
areas, and kitchenettes. Amenities include a gourmet restaurant, a bar
